Although Yosemite National Park is only 1 hour away from Bass Lake, where my family has gone every year for 50 years, I had never visited it before now, due to the windy roads and my tendency to get sick as a passenger in the car. It is truly a place that everyone should visit in their life, and so we decided to go this year. It is truly awe-inspiring and amazing to see the power of nature.
